Grand Hotel-Sopot

Although not located in Gdansk the Grand Hotel in Sopot is worthy of a mention as it is only 25 minutes away from Gdansk and is considered to be one of the best regarded hotels in the area.

Based right next to Sopot pier and practically on the beach this pre-war hotel has a rich history having hosted a multitude of celebrities and dignitaries (as well as Fidel Castro and Adolf Hitler).

Rebranded several years ago as the Sofitel Grand Sopot this place oozes class and sophistication and even has its own private beach.
